Missing Sign

Approximately ten days ago, I wrote something about this agglomeration of signs on St. Mark's Place. At that time, there was another sign in the mix, a brown one advertising Google. This morning, I passed by and it was gone:

Google sign is gone.

I wonder what happened to it? Ads usually stay up longer than approximately ten days, especially in the East Village, where signs are usually allowed to weather into oblivion!

A Mass of Signs

It's starting to look a lot like Fall.

Outside the Theater 80 St. Marks, at 80 St. Mark's Place, there are a lot of signs. One of them, however, is different. Can you spot it?

One of these signs is not like the others.

Of course, I'm referring to the purple sign for "The Parody of Saved By The Bell." It stands out like a sore thumb.

The Google advertisement is very subtle; it blends in with the existing environment.

East Villagers are particular about their existing environment!
