I was walking across East 2nd Street some time ago, when I noticed something odd about the metal plate the Department of Transportation workers used to cover excavations and street defects during construction projects:

to my quick glance, it looked like the logo for 'triumph' automobiles? whoever the welder was, they sure had a good sense of letter layout and design. and a nice steady hand.

btw, the reason why i thought of the car is the tire tracks that go across the name - it could almost be the last frame of a commercial.
