I passed by the site of the eclectic, intriguing, and authentic condominiums and penthouses going up on Avenue A this morning — there sure were a lot of cement trucks:

East 4th Street Blocked

While taking pictures of the tree trimming going on on Avenue C today, I noticed that cars were backing out of East 4th Street onto Avenue C. This only happens when the street is blocked for some reason, like a fire or construction.

I walked down the block to see what was going on, and saw this:

Big ol' cement truck blocking the street.

I'm glad that's not my car! Oh wait, I don't have a car!

It was pretty loud. I feel sorry for the people living in the building there — no beauty rest today!
