I've Seen That Face Before

You may remember this mural from such posts as "fresco" and "fresco Update":

Stay Human.

But did you know that the Stay Human face, now unglamorously inscribed by noted graffitier Jewman, can be seen in at least one other location in the East Village?

Behold, the riot gates of the beloved Giano, on East 7th Street:

Riot gates.

Can you tell which one it is? I'll give you a hint: it's the one on the right!

The one on the left looks like a young Kari Margolis!

Jewman Update

Regular readers of this blog are already familiar with the Jewman controversy.

Based on my source, I'm pretty sure this is just regular old graffiti. Here is another example that I saw a few weeks ago, on the side of the beloved Verizon building on Second Avenue:

More Jewman.

Who could mistake that smiley face for evil?

Jewman

The East Village is full of graffiti — it's like modern-day cave drawings!

New graffitiers are always emerging. One of the most recent is Jewman, whose introduction I noticed while riding my Citibike across East 6th Street, just past the intersection with First Avenue, outside the beloved Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins amalgamation:

Jewman.

Welcome Jewman!
