The Return of Violet

She's back! The character East Villagers love to love: Violet — otherwise known as Jessica Jones!

Proof.

The last time they filmed Jessica Jones in the East Village, there were all sorts of sitings of Kristen Ritter, and Mike Colter, and David Tennant, and who could forget the One-Time Simulated Explosion?!

What will they do to top that? Stay tuned!

2016 Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade

Yesterday was the 26th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade — the most popular event on the East Village social calendar!

You may remember from here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, that East Village Today has attended this event since its inception — since East Village Today's inception, that is!

Sadly, I must report that I didn't go this year. The weather forecast was for rain, so I stayed inside and watched Archer on Netflix. I have to tell you, that is a funny show!

Anyway, here is a picture of a taco dog I found on the internet, maybe even from this year:

Taco dog.

East Villagers love tacos!
