Tink's Defunct Indoor Seating

Back in June, I posted pictures of the beloved Tink's, on East 7th Street, that had just closed forever. The beloved Tink's was famous for its immensely cool-looking but impractical outdoor seating.

At that time, I took a picture of the inside also, but I didn't post it. I'm cleaning out my Drafts folder, in anticipation of a big announcement that will come soon!

Here is a picture of the beloved Tink's now-defunct, indoor seating:

Stay tuned for that big announcement, coming soon… to the East Village Today!

Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust

I was walking down East 7th Street yesterday, when my heart suddenly froze.

The beloved Tink's was closed:

The beloved Tink's, closed.

I don't mean not open, I mean closed for good!

It seems like only… seven weeks and two days ago, that I was photographing their outdoor seating!

But then I remembered: You can bring Tink's back, if you only believe!

As the sign on the door says: Stay Tune!

Sign on the door.

Tink's Revisited

About a week ago, I posted some very cool nighttime pictures of the outdoor seating at Tink's, a popular restaurant on East 7th Street.

At the time, I asked: Who would sit there? Today, we're one step closer to knowing that answer:

Sitting outside at Tink's.

A second table with two chairs has been added, for those who want to sit outside, but not on top of the cellar doors! The wooden chairs are gone.

If you ever sit here, take a selfie and send it to me. I'll post it here… on East Village Today!

Tink's Outdoor Seating

I don't have anything to say about these pictures I took on East 7th Street ten days ago:

Tinks.

I just liked them.

Here's a close-up:

OK, now I have something to say: Who would sit there?

No one, I guess — no one is!
