New Year’s Eve at Two Boots

The East Village was empty on New Year's Eve day this year, as so many of its residents had already flown, or taken a train, or driven home for the holidays.

I, however, am home, at the beloved Two Boots Pizza, on Avenue A and East 3rd Street!

Sicilian slice!

Two Boots Pizza was also empty, so like a true East Village rebel, I took off my mask!

Hatless Jester

Long ago, East Village Today discovered the location of the beloved Two Boots Pizza central business office, on East 3rd Street.

It's not known if this is still the central office, what with the sign gone! One thing is certain though: the oil standpipe makes a spiffy hatrack!

Spiffy hatrack.

Here is a close-up:

Close-up.

Somewhere in the East Village, a jester is hatless!

Protecting The Pizza

East Villagers who venture outside the confines of the neighborhood are no doubt familiar with the barricades that exist to protect famous buildings.

The beloved Two Boots Pizza, at the corner of Avenue A and East 3rd Street, deserves no less!

Guarded by barricades.

As this close-up shows, at least one attempt was made to breach the barricades:

One attempt.

Naturally, someone stuffed litter into it!

Two Boots Central Office

If you're like me, after all the times of eating Two Boots pizza, you've probably said: I wonder where Two Boots central office is located?

Well, you need wonder no more. It's here:

Two Boots central office.

It's pretty well concealed. I'm hesitant to even write which street this is on.

East Villagers love their privacy!
