This was what I wrote about it, back in September, 2016.
This McDonald's, located on the western frontier, just above St. Mark's Place, once greeted thousands of happy visitors every week, as they entered the East Village. Now there are only two left.
First they came for Chase, and I did not speak out– because I did not bank at Chase. Then they came for McDonald's…#eastvillage #mcdonalds #thirdavenue
