Impending Sidewalk Collapse

I was walking across East 6th Street last week, when I saw this new hole in the sidewalk in front of the apartment building between the Church Of God and the 6BC Botanical Garden:

New hole.

What does it look like inside, you ask? What is it people are going to fall into when the collapse occurs?

Dark.

It's dark as a dungeon, down in that hole!

It's grainy too.

Garden Love

I said it before and I'll say it again: East Villagers love their community gardens!

This is a picture of the 6BC Botanical Garden, on East 6th Street, between Avenues B and C:

East Villagers love the community gardens so much, they're trying to make them a preserved Community Gardens District!

Fashion Photo Shoot

I was walking past the 6BC Botanical Garden on East 6th Street yesterday, when I happened upon a fashion photo shoot:

Finishing touches on the model.

I couldn't tell who the photographer was, but the woman furthest back (you can barely see the side of her head) was holding the aluminum-foil-covered reflector circle!

Whether it's jeans or shirts or boots or jewelry, nothing entices consumers to buy more than a model standing outside a community garden…
