Free Shirt

If you keep your eyes open, the East Village is a treasure trove of found items!

Back in January, I saw this shirt propped up in the window of the local branch of Bank of America, on Second Avenue and East 4th Street:

Propped-up shirt.

"Free shirt!" I shouted, and I went to see what size it was.

That's when I noticed this:

Damaged goods.

It turned out not to be my size, and besides, East Villagers don't wear shirts that look like tablecloths!

Abandoned Jacket

It was really warm in the East Village this morning!

(How warm was it?!)

It was so warm, an East Villager took off his pleather jacket and threw it on the ground:

Pleather jacket on the ground.

I don't know why he threw it on the ground — now it's dirty!

Lost Thong

East Villagers have long been familiar with walking down the street and finding a lost shoe. "How does someone not know they lost a shoe?!" they can oftentimes be heard exclaiming!

Well, recently I was walking across East 6th Street, when I saw this lost thong:

Lost thong.

This had to be shed deliberately — how does someone not know they lost a thong?!

A Night to Remember

I was walking across East 11th Street today, when I saw this:

Discarded articles of clothing, in all shades!

Like I said, an East Village night to remember — unless it was all forgotten by morning!

Dude, where's my bra?
