It seems like it was only yesterday that I was writing about the beloved East 9th Street Block Party, and yet it was a year ago! (Whoa! Deja vu!)
This past Saturday, the 9th Street Block Party was in full swing again:

The beloved Superiority Burger was dishing up their famous Frito Pie (Fritos in the bag, some kind of chili stuff, and some kind of cheesy stuff. Trans-fats are vegan!):

Finally, the beloved 9th Street Block Party Band played while people… recorded their surroundings!
A good time was had by all… in the East Village Today!
I can't help but think that this blog has been instrumental in prompting people in the East Village to fix things up a bit!

A little paint works wonders.
Recently, this white area was the same color construction-site green as what borders it on either side. It might only be for the Christmas season, but the point is made nonetheless — paint works wonders… in the East Village!
