Watch Everything

I was walking across East 7th Street this past Thursday, when I saw a flash of bright pink in my peripheral field of vision.

I looked down the cellar stairs from whence it came, and saw this:

"Watch Your Head, Please!"

"Watch Your Head Please!" (East Villagers are very polite.)

I think the sign is meant for people who aren't watching their feet: they trip over the trash bags at the bottom of the stairs, and hit their heads!

Maybe there should be a sign on the steps that says: Watch Your Feet Please!
