This is the end of the A.K.A. Jessica Jones material, for now! I hope you enjoyed this little foray into every-day life in the East Village, with its celebrities and explosions and such! I mean, how often does something this cool happen? OK, every day, it's true, but it was still fun!

I think this was the first time I ever took a picture of someone I didn't know without trying to disguise the fact that I was taking their picture! And she smiled!

You might think by the title of this that I had an interview with one of the stars of A.K.A. Jessica Jones, that's currently shooting in the East Village.

Alas, no.

Exciting News!

East Villagers are beside themselves with excitement to learn that Violet, the code-name for A.K.A. Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter, will be shooting again in the East Village!

Announcing: Violet!

To make sure they have clear shots, parking will be restricted between East 4th and East 6th Streets, from Avenue A to Avenue B.

No Parking sign.

It's a minor inconvenience, for the benefit of having the East Village as the backdrop to great TV shows and movies!

Shooting Forever

After all the excitement of the recent Krysten Ritter sighting, East Villagers are maintaining a watchful eye for other celebrities filming on East 9th and 10th Streets. The new project name is Forever:

Forever.

The "A.K.A Jessica Jones" project name was Violet; it's possible that it's the same show but that they changed the name to throw off her fans — they don't want a bunch of old guys shouting "Krysten, marry me!" while they're shooting!

The streets are already blocked to parking:

If you can make it tomorrow at 1:00pm, I'm sure it'll be fun as all get out! I can't — I have to go to work.

P-P-P-Paparazzi

It's true, I was a paparazzo last night; it's not the first time, and living in the ever-cool East Village, it won't be the last!

But as you might expect, I was not the only one:

My fellow paparazzi.

These are serious fanzine paparazzi — you can tell by their lenses. Fans like their subjects removed from the environment. These pictures will be of her face, and maybe part of the door, but you won't see anything of East 7th Street.

If you were wondering what I was referring to in my post East Village Eye, it's this:

Krysten Ritter, the woman who played Jane Margolis, Jesse' Pinkman's girlfriend in "Breaking Bad", was on East 7th Street tonight shooting a new Netflix series called "A.K.A. Jessica Jones". To quote Syndrome: "Oh, man! I'm still geeking out about it!"

And what building did they choose to shoot in?

The building with the solitary, artificial, pink flowers in window boxes!

Do I have the eye?! Or do I have the eye?!

It almost seems unnecessary to say, but… nowhere is cooler then the East Village!
