Serious Inconvenience

I was riding my Citibike down the Second Avenue bike lane this past Thanksgiving Eve, when I saw this major blockade, just below East 12th Street:

Talk about inconvenience — I had to ride my Citibike up onto the sidewalk to get around it!

What was the cause of this havoc, you ask?

Cause of the havoc.

East Villagers appreciate infrastructure maintenance as much as the next villager… but oh, the inconvenience!
