Return of the Missing Cat Sign

March 26th was the one-year anniversary of the East Village Explosion.

Early that morning, I saw this gent videotaping the empty lot:

Interesting note: the signs hung on the fence paying tribute to the two who died here stop at the property line:

Even stranger is that signs for a missing cat have re-appeared:

Keeping hope alive… in the East Village Today!

  1. The tribute signs are on the fence of the lot where was the building where their lives ended?

  2. It just seems odd to stop the signage at the property line — not the building line, but the ownership line. Why not extend them a few feet more, eh?
