A Dieu Vous Comant, Macaron Parlour

In recent years, East Villagers have looked forward to the first day of Spring the way no villagers have before them, thanks to Macaron Day!

Sadly, this too has passed.

I was walking across St. Mark's Place this past Saturday, when I saw that the beloved Macaron Parlour was closed:

Closed.

No more free macarons once a year, no more taking pictures of macaron chefs at work, no more auto-corrected macaroni…

Who will give us free cookies now?
