I was passing by El Jardin del Paraiso this morning, on the East 4th Street side, when what do you suppose I saw?

A rooster!
Not just any rooster, a huge rooster — this rooster easily stood 16" from toe to cockscomb!
It takes more than provincialism to make a village, it takes farm animals too!
