The Troubadour

Historically, troubadours sang songs on the theme of courtly love.

This fellow was continuing that tradition yesterday evening, on Second Avenue:

Continuing the tradition.

…by singing "Feel Like Makin' Love", a song by the late-60s to mid-70s rock group Badfinger!
Baby, when I think about you, I think about love
Darlin', don't live without you and your love
If I had those golden dreams of my yesterdays
I would wrap you in the Heaven 'til I'm dyin' on the way
(What does that even mean?!)

Like all those of the troubadour tradition, he's probably already moved on to another location.

Only for a fleeting moment… in the East Village Today!

    the strings of his guitar.
