I was walking across East 9th Street this morning, when I saw this line of shoppers outside the beloved Eileen Fisher store:

They were there for the big sample sale!
When I passed by again later, the line had changed direction!

the line did not move much by 'later'. the woman in grey, who is at the front of the line in the second photo is about eighth in line in the first photo. the woman in the turquoise top and cane is fourth in the second photo.
