It's not just about the post, it's about the general state of disrepair of the 9th Street Haberdashery. Even the sign itself is a mess.
I don't understand why so many businesses operate as little more than pushcarts. How much would a can of paint and a brush cost? Who's attracted to this? Do they have regular customers who would balk at a new paint job?
They should repaint, find a new piece of driftwood to hand-letter their name on, and repair that fence and post. Wood needs to be taken care of, you know.
