I was walking across East 4th Street yesterday, when I saw this sign up in front of a building where construction has been occurring:

Altes House.

What's so special about this sign, you ask?

Boutique condominium residences!

Hey baby, let's get on down to the boutique condominiums
Let's bring back something that's funky but chic!
Maybe David Johansen himself will move in!
