No More Totems

I was walking across East 7th Street yesterday, and I was surprised to find the voodoo totems that once graced this area… gone:

Missing totems.

The building superintendent was probably instructed by the owner to remove them. Either that, or the witch doctor who lived here moved away!

Idols appear and disappear like magic… in the East Village Today!
