A New Mural

I was walking up Avenue C yesterday, when I saw a new mural being painted on the wall at East 4th Street. I didn't want to take his picture without asking, and I didn't want to interrupt his work, so I made a mental note to return today.

So… I was walking up Avenue C today, when I saw the new mural was finished:

At the bottom left, you can see where the words "Reserved for the Mendez Family" were painted over. I suppose that's who these two are, Mendezes.

Before this, there were rough outlines of the faces — I might have a picture of it somewhere. I'll have to look for it.

In the meantime… another East Village artist livens up the neighborhood!
