Art Over There

On the other side of the Third Avenue border of the East Village, at St. Mark's Place, there is a new sculpture by an artist named Keith Haring (1958–1990):

While it's not inside the borders, East Villagers are very excited about this new addition to their orbit.

Because as you are aware: East Villagers love art!

      Ha – you're right!

      I wish those news boxes hadn't been in the way. I could have gone over and got a closer shot, but I wanted the view from the East Village, and that side of Third Avenue is outside the East Village!
