Before Recycling Comes Reusing

Whenever East Villagers have no further use for some item, instead of just throwing it into a trashcan, they like to put it out on the street for someone else to take.

This morning, while walking across St. Mark's place, I saw this umbrella, left for someone who needs it:

I took a close-up because this place is such a mess, you might not know what I'm referring to:

A little further west, I saw this:

Shoes for the taking.

As it turns out, I had both an umbrella and a pair of shoes with me, so I left them both for someone else.

Besides, I prefer wingtips!
