CID Identity

While out walking around the East Village this weekend, I passed by this closed place on East 6th Street:

Empty space on East 6th Street.

The former-bar's name was Identity Bar & Lounge, and the sign at the side said:

cid identity

I thought this meant something like cis-identity. I though "cid" had some similar-type meaning, but when I looked it up, I found out it means Corporate Identity Design.

Who knows, in the East Village, that might be next!
