I always liked this sign (on East 7th Street), with its element names from the periodic table. The first time I saw it, I knew it was gold water.

I wonder if the woman who runs this store is a relative of Barry Goldwater, the father of late-20th-century U.S. conservatism. It must be — it's not that common a name, is it?
